What better way to spend two windy overcast days than painting Beautiful Bella, the golden retriever in my book of the same name? I almost don’t want to part with the painting but, of course, it is destined for Janine and Brad who lost their Bella last June.

OMG….through these tears, I say a big THANK YOU. Sooooo special. it will take pride and joy on our wall. I’ll tear up every time I look at it. It still hurts a lot, every day I see her, and wish she was still here. Just yesterday when I was out in our garden, I had “a moment”. Bella would always be beside me, just there, watching me and when I spoke to her look up at me with such devotion, priceless. Memories are special but pull at the heart strings.
It was a great pleasure to paint Bella and remember the wonderful times I spent with her. So pleased that you love the painting Janine. Xxx
