Even under cloudy skies the fishing village of Le Conquet, the most westerly point of Brittany (and Europe), is picturesque in grey and blue with touches of red; and when the sun comes out it becomes blue and white, and vibrant red and warm gold. Over the weekend it was mostly the former but we were treated to bursts of sunshine to warm the cockles of our heart.
